Geometry Enrichment

The purpose of this course is to offer support for students enrolled in Geometry (322) or Geometry Concepts & Applications. The teacher will reinforce skills presented in the Geometry Concepts class to improve student performance and develop better test taking skills in preparation for the HSPA. Students will have opportunities to write about math, use manipulatives and technology. Through detailed explanations and exercises, students will be exposed to testing processes and learn how to answer open-ended questions. Grades are based on the student’s willingness to work and performance in class. The Math Supervisor and Guidance counselors will assign students in Geometry Enrichment based on multiple measures.
