Honors/AP Criteria

US I Honors:

Global Studies (World History) students' qualifications into the US I Honors Program will be based on midterm test results, Global Studies (World History) grades, teacher recommendation and qualifying exam. (90+ average for three marking periods is recommended).

US II Honors:

US I Honors to US II Honors - 80+ average in previous course
US II CP to US II Honors - 90+ average and qualifying exam

US III Honors:

US II Honors to US III Honors - 80+ average in previous course
US II CP to US III Honors - 90+ average and qualifying exam
Student may not enroll in US III Honors upon completion of AP US History

AP United States History:

US I Honors to AP US History – 85+ average in US I Honors, summer project, AP Exam and teacher recommendation.

AP European History:

US II Honors to AP European History – 85+ average in US II Honors, summer project, AP Exam and teacher recommendation.
AP US History to AP European History – 85+ average in AP US History, summer project, AP Exam and teacher recommendation.
