RBR Student Art Auction to Benefit Amanda’s Easel


Caroline Pierce’s creative photograph, "Vibes"  The best works of the most talented Red Bank Regional (RBR) High School visual art students will be up for auction on Friday, February 26, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the RBR High School located at 101 Ridge Road in Little Silver.  All proceeds from the auction will benefit Amanda’s Easel, the art therapy program operated by 180 Turning Lives Around.  Professional auctioneer Peter Constanzo will conduct the event which will feature over 40 pieces of art in oil, water color, pencil, multi-media and photography among other mediums. There is a suggested donation f$2 (18 and older) and $1 anyone under 18.


Claudia O’Connor, the RBR Visual & Performing Arts Academy Studio Art teacher and advisor to the sponsoring RBR National Arts Honor Society, states, “This is the twelfth year of the auction to benefit a charity near and dear to our hearts. It also presents an excellent opportunity for members of the local community to purchase fabulous original art at very good prices while supporting a very worthwhile cause.”
