In this full-year laboratory course, students plan and operate a nursery school for preschool children. High school students study child guidance, curriculum planning, and techniques for teaching preschoolers. They prepare lesson plans and act as the "teacher of the day". This course offers students an opportunity to interact with children and learn about child
development and behavior through a personal experience. This class is an excellent prerequisite for a career related to children as well as for personal enrichment.
