    Dear Parents/Guardians of 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade students,

On Wednesday, October 14th, your students will be virtually participating in online benchmark exams for English Linkit benchmark and Math Start Strong Assessment for specific courses listed below. The benchmark exams will provide teachers with insight on each student's level for particular skills and standards for their class. This data will help teachers drive future instruction in these courses to meet all students' needs. Students will only be considered present for the day when your student completes their benchmark exams. When students' are at home, their English and Math teachers will be available to help with logging on or technology issues via a Google meet on the students' Google classroom during each testing window. The schedule for October 14th is as follows:

8:00 - 10:15 am- English benchmark testing for English 1,     English 2, and English 3 classes (all levels)

11:00 am - 12:30 pm- Math benchmark tests for students in Algebra 1 and Geometry (all levels)

Students in the following courses will not be taking a benchmark test this day: AP English, IB English, Algebra 2 (all levels), Pre-Calculus (all levels), Calculus (all levels). Students in those courses will receive an assignment from their teachers on Google classroom to complete; this will be their attendance for the day.

If you have any questions please contact your students counselor.

    Sincerely,
