Strategic Plan
In the summer of 2024, the Red Bank Regional Board of Education initiated a new strategic planning process in collaboration with the New Jersey School Boards Association. Throughout the spring of 2025, a series of leadership and administrative training sessions, community engagement meetings, and Strategic Committee planning sessions were conducted. In the summer of 2025, the Board formally approved the Strategic Plan for the period 2025–2030.
What is Strategic Planning?
Strategic Planning is a process that enables school districts to create a compelling vision and actionable steps to achieve long-term goals. This plan is crafted with input from various stakeholders and helps to ensure the alignment of short-term objectives with the district’s overarching mission. By doing so, it supports both immediate needs and sustained progress toward the district's core mission.
Strategic Planning answers the big questions:
- Where are we today?
- Where do we want to be in the future/
- What should we focus on today to make it more likely that we will be where we want to be in the future?
Strategic planning bridges the gap between long-term vision and day-to-day tactics.
