The T Thomas Cultural Foundation of Red Bank is seeking civic-minded students who are interested in history, social justice and/or the arts. There are many opportunities to be involved, including: becoming a summer intern; creating art to be used at events (essays, poetry, music or visual); helping to disseminate informtion at events or become a steward of the cultural center. Volunteers needed to assist in the operation of the Twin Lights Historic site gift shop. The site is owned and operated by the state however the gift shop is staffed by volunteers with the Twin Lights Historical Society without dedicated volunteers the state is unable to open the site 7 days a week. 4 hour shift once a week in the gift ship morning or afternoons. The Media Center is looking for students to assist the Media Specialist, Ms. Bunn, to help keep the Media Center a great environment to study and relax. Contact Ms. Bunn or Mrs. Hansen in The Media Center if you have an interest in working with students and staff in the educational setting. Duties will include: Keeping the shelves and the computer areas clean and organized; sorting and reshelving library materials; assisting students with technology questions; helping to create displays, bulletin boards and flyers; making recommendations of books to fellow students; helping to plan after school events and make marketing materials. Experience with and knowledge of library organization and computers is helpful.

Challanged Youth Sports is a recreational sports program for children with disabilities. The program is totally volunteer based, using caring adults and wonderful teenagers from our community.
