Music industry class

This course is designed to examine the history, as well as the constantly changing state of rock and roll and the music industry. Since no textbook can possibly stay current with today’s events, much of the course content will be derived from print and web journalism. Students will be expected to learn the basics of reading music, as well as learning terminology useful in critiquing music in a non-biased manner.
