United States Coast Guard recruiting open house on May 4, 2019 at the Training Center in Cape May. You will have the opportunity to explore Training Center Cape May on foot and by trolley, get an inside look at US Coast Guard vessels and view a Coast Guard helicopter up close. The Coast Guard Recruit Band and drill team will give engaging performances and US Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City will conduct thrilling search and rescue demonstrations. Pace University's Summer Scholars Institute is designed for highly motivated and talented high school juniors and seniors eager to experience what college can be like academically, intellectually, and socially. Held at our New York City Campus, this two-week program, combines study in one of five disciplines with active exploration of NYC’s cultural life—and events designed to complement the curriculum. Students can choose from the following academic tracks
- Criminal Justice
- Digital Film Production
- Theater Arts
The 2019 program runs from July 14-27, 2019, and costs $3,000 which includes course instruction, reading materials, two meals per day, housing, and events. Students who complete the program and are admitted to Pace University as an undergraduate will receive three general credits toward their degree, as well as a yearly $3,000 scholarship if a competitive GPA of 3.0 or above is maintained.
