Update on ELA 9 and 10 (Including Advanced Learning Options)
Red Bank Regional has a long-standing commitment to advanced education and educational excellence. Student participation in AP and IB coursework is broad-based and continues to expand. Enrollment in these courses is open to all juniors and seniors and not restricted by aptitude. In 2021-22, over 60 percent of our juniors and seniors took at least one of these college-level programs and many others participated in dual enrollment courses that we offer in partnership with Rutgers, Syracuse, and other institutions. In total, 65 percent of the courses in core academic areas are accelerated or honors courses and this list does not include electives or academy-based programs, many of which are also offered at an accelerated level.

RBR continues partnership with the Council on International Educational Exchange
RBR is proud to continue the partnership with the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) as a Global Navigator School for the 2022-2023 school year. This past summer, through CIEE’s language immersion and community service programs, several RBR students studied for three or four weeks in Italy, Portugal, Costa Rica, Spain, and France. This summer, thirty six programs will run across two sessions in nineteen countries for which students may apply to attend. RBR’s CIEE representative visited the school and spoke with all students about the unique study abroad opportunities and possible scholarships. Ms. Jill Tirrell, school counselor, is RBR’s CIEE liaison. Any interested students may contact her regarding applications for the summer of 2023.
