• What is Strategic Planning?

Strategic Planning is a process that enables school districts to create a compelling vision and actionable steps to achieve long-term goals. This plan is crafted with input from various stakeholders and helps to ensure the alignment of short-term objectives with the district’s overarching mission. By doing so, it supports both immediate needs and sustained progress toward the district's core mission.

Strategic planning answers the big questions:

    • Where are we today?
    • Where do we want to be in the future/
    • What should we focus on today to make it more likely that we will be where we want to be in the future?

Strategic planning bridges the gap between long-term vision and day-to-day tactics.
