Big changes are coming to RBR’s International Baccalaureate program with steps being taken to bolster enrollment in the Diploma Program. A new ninth grade IB cohort will be formed to participate in a variety of experiences aligned with the IB learner profile. “We are excited about building new pathways to engage our students in deep learning experiences,” says VPA Supervisor Lisa Boyle, who coordinates the IB program with Rose Powers. Diploma graduates have praised the program for preparing them to excel in challenging academic work after high school. Recently, RBR diploma students have been admitted to many prestigious universities and colleges, including Cornell, Tulane, and the University of Michigan.
