Superintendent Louis Moore Honored by Monmouth County Board of Commissioners for Fulbright

  • The Monmouth County Board of Commissions recently honored Superintendent Louis Moore for being selected to participate in the Fulbright Leaders for Global Schools Program. In November, Moore will travel to Germany to explore strategies aimed at providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to address global challenges and succeed in a global economy.

"I am proud to receive the award on behalf of our entire school community since my selection reflects the innovative work being done here at Red Bank Regional High School,” Moore said. “I look forward to participating and also to sharing what I learned with colleagues and students when I return.” The Fulbright Program is the U.S. State Department’s premier international educational program. Fulbright Scholarships provide recipients with the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to shared international challenges. Dr. Moore was one of 34 applicants in the United States selected for the program.

In addition to Moore, the Commissioners also honored Red Bank Superintendent Jared Rumage for his selection as Monmouth County Superintendent of the Year.
